Michelle Planche, CMP, is an accomplished award-winning event specialist and entrepreneur with 27+ years of experience in the event industry. Planche is an active member of the event industry and believes in giving back to the industry, creating standards of excellence and raising the bar of professionalism. Planche’s commitment to that goal is shown by her devoted contributions to many event industry associations and over 17 years of teaching event management in Colleges and Universities. Planche is a prominent industry speaker and mentor with 30 years of experience.

Michelle is the creator, founder, and producer of several large-scale events, including The Art of Fashion, Girlfriends Getaway Weekend, Community Craft Beer Festivals, and XMUS Festival. She has worked with several organizations to develop signature events, including UHN Hospital Rocket Ride for Rehab, CNIB Summer Fundraising event, Deerhurst Resort, and The Town of Bracebridge What’s Cooking Bracebridge.

Michelle has received the prestigious Event Producer of the Year award from the Star Awards as well as awards for Best Public Event, Best Team Building Event, Best Logistical Achievement, Best Conference, Best Entertainment Event, to name a few.

She is the host of Event TV featured in Canadian Special Events Magazine and has been featured on several media outlets as an expert, including Breakfast Television, CTV, City TV News, Canada AM, to name a few.
